ECOVACS DEEBOT & WINBOT Repair Support in Canada

Help for ECOVACS robot vacuums, window cleaners, and related products: common station and navigation issues, maintenance tips, and how to arrange repair with Atravesar Services.

ECOVACS products — especially DEEBOT robot vacuums and WINBOT window cleaners — appear regularly on Atravesar’s Canadian repair bench. This hub collects practical guidance for owners and explains how to arrange service through our Richmond Hill facility. It is written for people who already tried the basics and need a clear next step.

Product families we commonly support

  • DEEBOT robot vacuum and mop hybrids (N, T, and X series and mini models)
  • WINBOT window cleaning robots
  • Related docks, OMNI stations, and accessories when they fail as a system
  • Selected GOAT lawn products when they arrive through partner or consumer channels

Problems that look like hardware but often are not

Before requesting repair, work through these owner-level fixes. They resolve a large share of support tickets and save a shipping round-trip:

  • Hair wrapped around the main brush, side brush, or LDS turret
  • Dirty cliff sensors or charging contacts
  • Clean/dirty water tanks not seated or floats stuck in OMNI stations
  • Dust bag missing or cabin lid not closed on auto-empty docks
  • Wi-Fi setup on 5 GHz-only networks when the model needs 2.4 GHz
  • Protective films still on docks or bumpers from unboxing

See the detailed article: ECOVACS DEEBOT common errors and fixes.

WINBOT-specific notes

Window robots fail most often from pad seating, overly wet pads, dirty drive tracks, or glass gaps that leak suction. Do not use WINBOT on cracked glass. Hold the safety tether on elevated windows and follow the app when the robot reports low air pressure. If suction hardware itself has failed, stop and request service rather than forcing repeated starts.

When repair is the right next step

Send the robot or station for service when alerts persist after cleaning and power-cycling, when the unit will not charge despite clean contacts, when pumps or fans have clearly failed, or when navigation hardware (LDS / dToF) no longer spins or reports after basic cleaning. Opening sealed modules yourself can void remaining warranty coverage and often creates secondary damage.

How to contact Atravesar for ECOVACS service

Email info@atravesar.ca with:

  • Exact model name (for example DEEBOT X8 OMNI)
  • The app alert or voice prompt text
  • Whether the dock/OMNI station is involved
  • Photos of error screens if available
  • Purchase channel if you believe warranty still applies

We will advise whether to ship the robot alone or include the station, then provide packing guidance. General shipping steps: mail-in repair process. Service overview: mail-in repair.
